This original woodcut print was recently featured in the Annual Spring Show at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where it was awarded the third-place prize in Printmaking.

The print is a reduction woodcut, featuring six layers of warm, harmonious tones to create a striking portrait. Each of the six layers was carved by hand from the same block.

The image was printed with oil-based inks on hand-made Japanese mulberry paper, using an etching press.

This is a limited edition of 9.
